About the Attorney

Zahid Iqbal Akhtar is the founder and principal advocate of Divorce Lawyer Pakistan, a practice devoted entirely to divorce and family law. Over 30+ years of practice, the focus has been singular: guiding men and women, in Pakistan and abroad, through divorce with clarity, discretion and legal precision.

Divorce is rarely just a legal event, it is one of the hardest transitions a person goes through. That belief shapes how every case is handled: explaining your options in plain language, choosing the correct route (Talaq or Khula), and making sure every notice, hearing and certificate is completed correctly the first time, so your divorce is valid, provable and final.

With deep experience in the Union Council process, the Family and Guardian Courts and NADRA documentation, and a strong track record with overseas Pakistani clients, the practice combines courtroom competence with responsive, respectful client care.
